If you're asking why Reason isn't recognizing your pedalboard as a MIDI controller to record MIDI data, it may just be that you have to assign the pedals to the desired MIDI functions manually. "Record" is Propellerhead's audio-recording sister program to Reason. ThanksI'm not clear on what you're asking, but if the question has to do with not being able to record audio in Reason, the answer is that Reason doesn't have audio-recording capabilities. Reason is letting me paste in tracks i record from pro-tracks, but it feels like i should be able to just record straight into reason, seeing all the record buttons it has? GNX4s recording capabilities using the included Pro Tracks Plus recording. Is there something else i need to buy, or is Reason not made to record as i was told? The GNX4s MIDI drum machine sounds so realistic youll look for the drum. Also would anybody recomend a different version of recording software that will work with My GNX4. I have started to try and use it but I am having a hard time finding a good comprehensive book or website that has tutorials or written information. Pro Tracks reads my GNX4 as GNX USB MIDI Device IN and OUT. Anybody using Pro Tracks Plus I have a Digitech GNX4 and it came with ProTracks Plus. Today i finally got Reason 4, but it will not read my my GNX4 as a MIDI Device, and therefore i can't record now. i have had a GNX4 for many years, and it has worked fine with the recording software that came with it, which is called Pro Tracks Plus 2.2. Hey sorry if this is posted in wrong place.
